Wayne A. Petermann is the owner and home inspector of New Image Home Inspections. When a prospective buyer views a home, there’s a lot of information to take in—so much in fact, that it’s nearly impossible to form a clear and accurate picture of everything that can be expected moving forward. Even multiple showings won’t always reveal the whole story, and that’s why it’s important to bring in a professional home inspector to investigate the property’s condition. Wayne is dedicated to giving his clients an honest and highly detailed assessment of a home that will empower them to make a good decision and negotiate their terms with confidence.

A Home Inspector Who Understands the Big Picture

Before Wayne became licensed as a home inspector, he owned and operated several of his own health and wellness clinics. It was this experience that first piqued Wayne’s interest in building construction and made him realize the importance of quality property inspections. Some of the properties Wayne invested in required substantial remodeling in order to bring them up to today’s construction standards, and once he understood what was needed, Wayne worked hands-on to make it happen.

After many years of investing, building, remodeling and owning homes in the Northeast of the country, Wayne relocated to South Carolina bringing with him his lifelong experience and knowledge. Upon obtaining his certification as a South Carolina Home Inspector, he felt it was important to go beyond the standard and go the extra mile to obtain his Certified Professional Inspector status from InterNACHI. After training to become a home inspector, Wayne decided that his company would be committed to helping clients understand the big picture—providing factual information about the home’s present condition as well as viable repair and maintenance strategies.
